Mitsubishi HC1500 has been discontinued last month to make way for the HC1600. The only differences reported so far are a 100 extra lumens.

BestBuy's are clearing their HC1500 stock. No stores in my area had it, I picked up the last unit in the neighboring state.

At BB today and saw the clearance tag for the Mitsubishi HC1500 projector $599. Went to purchase one and the sales guy said they sold the last one yesterday... whatever. You can use the Google cache to check store availability-

Not the best projector out there but for 600 why not? As always with BB, clearance prices may vary by store and region and not everyone will have them in stock. Good luck hunting!
