My neighbor just told me about Zennie Optical a source for inexpensive perscription eyeglasses and sunglasses online. The frames begin at $8.00 for plastic and up for titanium, stainless steel, designer, etc... She says they're great and Clark Howard said they're a great value for the price too! .
